Creative Threads – A Crafting Community in West Calder

Calling all lovers of sewing, knitting, crochet, and textile crafts! Whether you're a seasoned stitcher or a casual crafter, our Creative Threads Group welcomes you to a relaxed, friendly space where creativity and community come together.

We meet weekly at the West Calder Community Hub, and our focus is on having fun with old and new textiles. Bring your own projects and enjoy:

• A chance to swap ideas, patterns, and inspiration

• Skill-sharing among members – from simple tips to expert advice

• A warm atmosphere with plenty of chat, coffee, and laughter

• Insight into new products and where to find materials

It’s not a teaching group, so some prior experience is helpful, but don’t worry – the spirit of the group is all about supporting each other and enjoying the process of making together.
